Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable Medical Assistant with experience or interest in dermatology. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the dermatologist with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies
• Take patient histories, vital signs, and document in EMR
• Educate patients on post-care instructions and skincare regimens
• Handle specimens for pathology/lab testing
• Perform scribing and charting duties as needed
• Support front desk as needed with scheduling, phones, and check-ins
Qualifications
• Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience
• Dermatology experience preferred but not required (training available)
• Familiarity with EMR systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
