Position Overview

As a Non-Invasive Cardiologist, employed by Covenant HealthCare but working within the Aspire Rural Health System, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services, including echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, and vascular imaging, directly within the facilities of the Aspire Rural Health System.
  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests to accurately diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions for patients in the Thumb Region.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals across the Aspire network to develop personalized treatment plans and ensure integrated care.
  • Participate in outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations within the rural hospital settings, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to a community that greatly values your expertise.
  • Contribute to clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities within the cardiology department and our partner facilities, helping to shape the future of rural cardiac care.

Qualifications

  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Fellowship training in Non-Invasive Cardiology from an accredited program.
  • Valid medical license in the state of Michigan or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong clinical skills and expertise in interpreting cardiac imaging studies.
