Job description

Job Title

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow established assembly procedures to ensure quality production.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to assemble components.
  • Use hand and small power tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills, to assemble components.
  • Assemble components, fixtures, and accessories according to established specifications and instructions.
  • Perform final assembly of components, fixtures, and accessories.
  • Use various measuring and testing devices, such as multimeters and megohmmeter, to ensure quality and accuracy of assemblies.
  • Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to assembly, such as fitting and alignment problems.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines in the assembly process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Cross-train to support other product lines as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Education and Experience Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • General assembly experience desired

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Organizational skills
  • Technical competencies: ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Troubleshooting: ability to resolve basic assembly issues
