SUMMARY

Q2 is seeking a Senior Marketing Project Manager to lead complex, cross-team projects within Marketing and between Marketing and other stakeholders. The role includes both managing high-priority projects led by a variety of project owners and owning and driving projects focused on internal process improvement. Experience driving process excellence projects is a plus. This person plays a leadership role in helping the Marketing Operations team drive overall efficiency and effectiveness, enabling the organization to scale with continued growth through both best-in-class project management and process excellence improvements. They are also responsible for working with other project managers on the team to enhance project management best practices and assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and coordinate high value Marketing-led projects such as CONNECT, our annual client conference, including project plans and charters, status tracking, dashboards and timelines.
Lead process excellence projects that will have an impact on how marketing operates internally and with other stakeholders.
Work with project owners to ensure that projects are completed effectively leveraging project management best practices.
Drive process excellence best practices including process documentation and diagraming, process optimization, training and automation.
Evaluate and optimize tooling and approaches to drive improved efficiency and automation.
Interview and interact with stakeholders to understand existing processes, requirements, problems, and alternatives
Engage affected teams to ensure that they are part of the solution
Drive a data-based approach to evaluate operational improvements including baselining and monitoring.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Program Management, or Communications with a minimum of 8 years of experience in project management; or advanced degree with 6+ years of project management experience
Strong project management, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, and oral / written communication skills
Process optimization or process excellence experience a strong plus but not required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to analyze business and operations processes and to synthesize that input into robust solutions.
Redesign business processes to optimize efficiency, reduce complexity and minimize the effects of variation
Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge and proficiency with core project management, process documentation and process automation software a plus
