Come join our team as a Tool Room Associate!
The position of Tool Room Associate is critical to the daily operation and oversite of our current tool room to cater to both Single and Multi-Family departments. This role is responsible for daily operation of the Tool room, maintenance of existing tools and the procurement of Tool items in partnership with the Purchasing Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Efficiently distribute applicable tools to service and production departments working with each department to understand their needs for new and replacement tools
  • compliance
  • Correctly check and repair all tools including prefab, machines, and dyes to maximize lifespan of each tool and to ensure all are working effectively
  • Monitor and repair all tools including prefab, machines, and dyes to maximize lifespan of each tool and to ensure all are working effectively.
  • Ensure all physical allocations of tools matches systemically in Panatrack ST
  • Work closely with purchasing team to ensure Tool readiness for jobs for all stake holders
  • Efficiently manage tool schedule based on job finish and start dates to assess need for re-allocation or purchase of tools
  • Maintain clear documentation and communication on Warranty claims for RT Moore and Employee owned tools
  • Maintain proper levels of disposable assets to ensure availability to crews
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure needs are met for Field Ops
  • Perform monthly inventory audits along with daily spot checks to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Maintain a compliant return process for job boxes
  • Maintenance of the Tool room and the lean-too cage

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Clear, effective communications skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to assertively and effectively negotiate and resolve interpersonal issues
  • Proactive drive to get tasks accomplished independently
  • Aptitude for prioritizing and problem-solving
  • Preference for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization
  • Proficient in using basic office equipment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, plus Internet and email
  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Mechanical and tool usage and knowledge required
  • Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
