The Downhole Tool Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining the excellence of Fortress Downhole Tools. They work closely with customer field representatives to coordinate and execute tool-related tasks, ensuring a seamless experience. This position involves a range of responsibilities, from tool maintenance and recycling to effective communication and operational management.

  • Downhole tool experience is essential, ensuring a solid understanding of the product line.
  • Self-motivation and attention to detail are key attributes for this role, ensuring high-quality work.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays is required to support customer field operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 OS,  and Microsoft Office is a must for digital operations.
  • Forklift training and proficiency with basic hand tools are essential for tool handling and maintenance.
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs is required for tool handling and movement.
  • A clean driving record is necessary, with CDL being an added advantage for travel requirements.
  • The candidate must pass a drug screen and background check for employment.
  • Travel to other districts is expected, with an approximate travel expectancy of 5-15%
  • Coordinate and execute Cyclops Setting Tool pickup and delivery, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

  • Assist in tool delivery and pickup as needed, providing a reliable and responsive service.
