Monday-Friday: 2pm-10pm
$25.65/hour plus shift premium totaling $27.65/hour

What You'll Do
As a Tool & Die Apprentice, you'll be part of our team located in Willard, OH. You'll get to: Responsibilities / Authority:
  • Must abide by the SBD Apprenticeship expectations
  • Attend apprenticeship classes
  • Attend required internal and/or external safety classes and follow all safety rules
  • Repair and recondition existing tools, fixtures, and dies as assigned
  • Perform machine work on components for new tools, fixtures, and dies as required
  • Operate lift trucks, cranes, welders, and other equipment to perform Tool Room duties
  • Maintain quality and production standards following all ISO and company procedures
  • Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Perform Tool Room tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Group Leader

• Successfully pass the apprenticeship entry exam
• Must have a valid lift truck operator license or successfully complete lift truck training
• Furnish required tools
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic understanding of machining, stamping, fabrication, and assembly operations
