System Architect Responsibilities
  • Design and develop system architecture for complex IT solutions
  • Define and maintain architecture standards, principles, and guidelines
  • Review and validate business and technical requirements for compliance with architectural assumptions
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with target architecture and enterprise standards
  • Service‑oriented systems (SOA)
  • High‑performance and high‑availability systems
  • Systems based on relational databases
  • Virtualized and containerized environments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient system designs
  • Support technical decision‑making, including system evolution and improvement
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, including models and diagrams
  • Use modeling techniques such as:
  • ArchiMate
  • UML
  • BPMN
  • EPC
  • Work with tools such as Enterprise Architect to model and document solutions
  • Participate in large‑scale projects as System Architect, ensuring end‑to‑end architectural consistency
Requirements
  • Proven experience as System Architect in at least 3 projects with: duration of min. 6 months and project value of min. 5,000,000 PLN
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in: validating requirements against architecture assumptions and designing complex system architectures
  • Strong experience designing: service‑oriented architectures (SOA), multi‑layered architectures, high‑performance and high‑availability systems, data‑driven systems using databases and solutions using virtualization and containerization
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, including: TOGAF (certified)
  • Knowledge of architecture modeling standards, including: ArchiMate (certified – Foundation or Practitioner)
  • Strong knowledge of: UML, BPMN and EPC
  • Experience working with Enterprise Architect tool
  • Knowledge of business analysis techniques
  • Strong analytical and architectural thinking skills
