Guides students through multi-step word problems, geometry proofs, graphing functions, and trigonometric applications. Emphasizes calculator efficiency, estimation skills, and recognizing high-frequency question types to maximize speed and accuracy.
  • Test Strategy & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with ACT Math progression (easier early questions, harder later questions) and common pitfalls including misreading problems and calculation errors. Adapts instruction through timed drills, formula sheet creation, and targeted practice on weak areas (geometry, trig). Requires minimum ACT Math score of 31 and proven methods for score improvement.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
