Job description

Job Description We are seeking highly experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultants (2) to support a large-scale Aerospace & Defense (A&D) client. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP TM solutions in a complex, highly regulated environment with global logistics operations. The client is in the process of unifying multiple complex legacy business areas running legacy ECC and 3rd party solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP TM expertise, strong integration knowledge, and experience working within large enterprise or A&D landscapes. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP TM (Transportation Management) solutions Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate complex logistics and transportation requirements into SAP solutions Configure core SAP TM functionalities including: Freight Order Management Transportation Planning & Optimization Carrier Selection & Tendering Freight Costing & Settlement Integrate SAP TM with: SAP S/4HANA or ECC SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) External carrier and logistics platforms (EDI/API) Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for enhancements Support end-to-end testing, including SIT, UAT, and performance testing Provide production support and resolve complex issues in a timely manner Ensure compliance with A&D regulatory requirements (e.g., ITAR, export controls) Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices and solution governance Requirements US Citizenship Minimum of 5 + Years of SAP TM solution experience including stand along and S/4 embedded TM experience S/4 Certification Preferred
