Job description

Indotronix is seeking an :Aerospace Mechanical Assembly Technician Level B
Location:Kennedy Space Center, FL
Shift Timings: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Candidates must be comfortable working all shifts
2-4 weeks of training. Training will be on first shift
Is Clearance Required To Start?: No
High school diploma or GED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Assemble, install, and test pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, tubing, and fittings.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Measure tolerances and verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
  • Perform work to specified torque requirements and mechanical clearances.
  • Support structural assembly activities, including match drilling of aluminum, titanium, and composite materials.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and engineering requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Support manufacturing, testing, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
  • Experience working with pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, and mechanical hardware.
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly requirements.
  • Experience working with torque specifications and mechanical clearances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting NASA programs.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
