Histology Technician
Various Shifts
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced histology technician to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of histological techniques to prepare tissue samples for pathological examination.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining procedures according to established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain histology equipment, including microtomes, tissue processors, and staining machines.
  • Prepare reagents and solutions used in histological procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality control throughout the histology process.
  • Maintain laboratory records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate results.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in histotechnology or related field.
  • Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred.
