Job description

Johnson Service Group is searching for multiple Manufacturing Process Operators for our client located in Beech Island, SC. This position pays $22.50/hour and will have rotating shifts 12 hour shifts (7-7), including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required. Role:

  • This role requires a strong ownership mindset, operational discipline, and learning agility
  • Operating Partners work as part of self-directed teams and partner closely with Maintenance, Reliability, and Engineering to deliver sustainable results across safety, quality, service, and cost
  • This role will have responsibility for operating parts of the tissue machine operation and ensuring the product made is meeting customer expectations


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma or GED Grade 12 certificate
  • Have 1+ years of continuous work experience
  • Able to maintain a work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, generally 7:15-7:30
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening
  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of verifiable work experience
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years of experience working in packaging, warehousing, industrial or distribution environment
  • Experience in a GMP environment for consumer goods
  • Mechanical skills and technical troubleshooting
