Job description

Envision Horizons is a global marketplace growth agency specializing in Amazon, Walmart, and other major retail media networks. Our team helps brands build awareness, capture market share, and drive profitability through data-driven strategy and execution.
We believe high-performing teams are built on trust, curiosity, and the power of collective expertise. As a leading force in global eCommerce acceleration, our diverse, tech-driven professionals don't just react to the industry; they shape it. By fusing ambitious thinking with compassion, we deliver exceptional client outcomes while making space for every individual to create, grow, and genuinely thrive. Each team member influences our evolution, enjoying flexibility and support unmatched by larger organizations. Here, your impact is real, your ideas matter, and your career trajectory is limitless.
Role Overview
We're looking for an early-career, engineering-minded operator to serve as a bridge between our front-office teams and our technical systems. This role is designed for someone who thrives on understanding how work actually gets done and enjoys translating real-world business needs into structured, scalable solutions.
In the first phase, you'll embed directly with our Account Management team, shadowing calls, observing workflows, and building a deep understanding of how we operate and where inefficiencies exist. From there, you'll translate those insights into clear requirements and specifications that enable our engineering team to build impactful automation and tools.
This is not a coding role or a client-facing account management position. It is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of business and technology, acting as the connective tissue that turns complexity into clarity and ideas into execution.
How You'll Make An Impact

  • Complete a structured onboarding and immersion period by shadowing Account Managers (AMs), Account Directors (ADs), Account Coordinators (ACs), and front-office leadership to develop a deep understanding of internal workflows, client needs, and operational pain points.
  • Observe and document day-to-day front-office activities, identifying manual processes, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with team members to gather insights, validate observations, and build a comprehensive view of workflows across accounts.
  • Translate ambiguous, non-technical business needs into clear, structured, and deterministic requirements.
  • Develop detailed specifications and documentation to support automation and tooling initiatives.
  • Partner closely with engineering and product teams to hand off well-defined project requirements and ensure alignment on intended outcomes.
  • Contribute to prioritization efforts by building business cases, outlining impact, and supporting decision-making frameworks for automation initiatives.
  • Serve as a bridge between front-office teams and technical teams, ensuring solutions are grounded in real user needs and workflows.
What Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an Engineering discipline from an accredited institution is required.
  • Early-career candidates and recent graduates are encouraged to apply; strong learning agility and curiosity are essential.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex, ambiguous processes into clear, repeatable workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to think deterministically and approach problems with logic, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening and observational skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from real-world workflows.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in documenting processes and translating business needs into clear requirements.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Interest in process improvement, systems thinking, and operational efficiency.
  • No prior experience in Amazon or account management required; willingness to learn the business is key.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus, so your results and ambition are truly rewarded.
  • Fully remote culture, with collaborative hubs in New York, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Seattle; join us from anywhere, but connect where opportunity grows.
  • Comprehensive health, vision, and dental insurance with a minimum company contribution, 401(k) match to plan for your future, and flexible PTO and wellness days to support both your personal and professional well-being.
  • Career growth support, ongoing learning opportunities, 1:1 leadership coaching program, and structured mentorship opportunities.
  • Engaging virtual team events and activities throughout the year.
  • Partnership with Talkspace for free mental health support.
Why Envision Horizons?
  • Culture-Driven: Our values: Be a Leader, Get It Done, Be Inquisitive, and Have Humility, are more than words. They're the foundation of every win and the reason our team stays and grows.
  • Empowered Growth: With open leadership, mentorship, and real opportunities for upskilling and career pathing, your ambition won't hit a ceiling here.
  • Opportunity for Impact: Small enough that your voice matters and big enough to work with the world's most exciting brands.
  • True Flexibility: Design your workday around life, wherever you are, with both remote autonomy and collaborative energy.
