Job description

Job summary: The COMMERCIAL SALES SPECIALIST works under the direction of the Commercial Sales Manager; responsible for growing the Commercial Truck tire sales for K&M Tire in a designated region; extensive knowledge of the product and customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Increase Truck tire sales to produce maximum GP.
  2. Work with and provide training and assistance to our dealers.
  3. Assistance with tire warranties and adjustments.
  4. Maintain current customer's sales and developing new business.
  5. Keep informed of current training to insure customers receive the best sales/service possible.

Daily Duties:
  1. Responsible for growing the commercial truck tire sales in the assigned territory while maintaining a high level of GP.
  2. Prospecting to new accounts
  3. Maintain current customers and help secure new commercial customers for our dealers.
  4. Must be knowledgeable of products and programs K&M has to offer with Truck tires.
  5. Assist in getting slow moving Truck tire inventory sold.
  6. Call on end users and perform fleet inspections.
  7. Attend Truck shows.
  8. Performs related work as required in a team atmosphere.
  9. Present a clean, neat, professional appearance.
  10. Make it easy and convenient to do business with K&M Tire.
  11. Keeps informed of current training to insure customers receive the best sales/service possible.
  12. Anything else needed to help obtain the goals of K&M Tire.

Job Requirements:
  1. Ability to sell, and possess strong presentation skills.
  2. Ability to work in a multi-task, professional environment.
  3. Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:
