Job description

Fitness Test Administrator (PRN)

Cape Fox Concentric Methods is accepting resumes for a Fitness Test Administrator (PRN) to execute Physical Fitness Exams with professionalism, consistency, and care for the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS). The United States Postal Inspection Service, or the Postal Inspectors, is the federal law enforcement arm of the United States Postal Service.

In this role you will set up test stations, administer push-ups, sit-ups, and the 1.5-mile run to strict form and timing standards, capture results in a secure field app, and complete two-person validation with the Site Lead. Sessions are scheduled in three-hour blocks with the FTA typically working three hours per event. Ideal candidates have experience officiating or administering fitness assessments, hold a recognized fitness credential or equivalent coaching background, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail, clear communication, and consistency under written SOPs.

The hourly rate for this position has been established at: 36.51 dollar. This rate represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a 401K with company match.

Responsibilities
  • Set up test stations to specification; verify measured distances and lap markers.
  • Administer events in sequence; enforce form standards and counting rules; record official times.
  • Enter data into the secure field app; reconcile discrepancies with the Site Lead.
  • Support two-person validation and sign the score sheet.
  • Perform written calibration checks at setup (distance verification and timer spot-checks).
  • Apply consistent “no-rep” protocols with clear verbal cues that do not confer advantage.
  • Record rest intervals to the session timeline to support auditability.
  • Complete a quarterly skills check (timing accuracy and counting concordance within tolerance).

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in a related field preferred.
  • Current CPR/AED preferred; one or more years in structured fitness testing, coaching, or officiating.
  • Proficiency with mobile data capture.
  • Pass Concentric Methods Scoring and QA module with ≥ 98% blinded accuracy.
  • Sign annual conflict-of-interest and confidentiality attestations.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
