We are seeking a Lead Project Engineer to support our Forklift and Telehandler product line. This role is a hands-on, forward-thinking engineering leadership position responsible for managing multiple projects from concept through completion, supporting both current products and new product development

Essential Functions
โ€ข Lead full product development cycles from conception through completion utilizing a stage-gate process
โ€ข Develop and present technical and project updates to executive management
โ€ข Create and manage detailed project plans using MS Project or similar tools, including resource allocation and schedule distribution
โ€ข Lead and mentor a team of multi-disciplinary engineers within a cross-functional environment
โ€ข Support product design and development involving machined components, sheet metal, fabricated weldments, and large assemblies, ensuring clear dimensional schemes that capture engineering intent
โ€ข Design, develop, and execute testing procedures for off-road heavy equipment
โ€ข Manage multi-tiered Bills of Material (BOMs) and support integration with organizational ERP systems
โ€ข Lead root cause analysis efforts, including interpretation of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics
โ€ข Support quality initiatives such as DFMEA, PPAP, VAVE, and 6S
โ€ข Interface with vendors and conduct site visits to support quality audits as required
โ€ข Support Request for Quote (RFQ) processes as needed
โ€ข Interpret customer contracts and assess impacts to engineering scope, timelines, and cost
โ€ข Mentor and develop junior engineers, supporting technical growth and professional development
โ€ข Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions

Required Education
