Job description


- Retrieving, adding, and mixing chemicals used in the production process.
- Read, understand & follow all Lab Operating Procedures (LOPs), ensuring all dumps and remakes (D&Rs) are completed properly.
- Ensuring each chemical waste is properly labeled by OSHA standards.
- Keep chemical inventory goods up to date, and provide inventory counts as needed.
- Maintains timing according to the production schedule to ensure on-time logistics.
- In charge of maintaining/assisting electroless and wastewater treatment.
- Assist throughout the plant with housekeeping if needed.
- Loading/unloading of chemical waste
Responsibilities include:
- Reporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns.
- Meeting physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • More education or experience in a related field may be required.
  • Experience working with forklifts may be preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of chemical processes.
  • Aptitude for mechanics.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
