Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Manager to lead sales growth across rentals, rent-to-purchase programs, and direct equipment sales. This role is highly entrepreneurial and focused on expanding market share, developing new dealer networks, and positioning Savannah equipment as the go-to solution in land clearing and land conversion projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue through:
    • Equipment rentals
    • Rent-to-purchase agreements
    • Direct sales of Savannah Rotary Rakes and Stump Pullers
  • Identify and develop new customers in:
    • Land clearing and forestry
    • Solar farm development
    • Agriculture and ranching
    • Industrial, commercial, and residential site development
  • Build and expand dealer and distribution channels across target regions
  • Sell solutions, not just equipment—help contractors improve productivity and profitability
  • Conduct on-site demonstrations of equipment (dozers, skidders, tractors)
  • Collaborate with customers on new product development ideas and improvements
  • Maintain and grow a consistent social media and PR presence to increase brand visibility
  • Assist with website updates and content creation to showcase projects, results, and capabilities
  • Represent the company at trade shows, field demos, and industry events


Qualifications

  • Proven success in equipment sales, rentals, or commercial account development
  • Strong knowledge of one or more:
    • Bulldozers
    • Forestry skidders
    • Agricultural tractors and implements
  • Experience in:
    • Land clearing operations
    • Forestry or farming equipment
    • Ranching or pasture management (preferred)
  • Ability to operate or demonstrate heavy equipment (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Experience building dealer networks or distribution channels is a major plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
