Job Location: Duluth, GA

Job Description
Restoration Consultants for Duluth, GA, location. Develop engineering plans for large complex projects including the project budget, staffing requirements, and schedule. Responsible for managing a workload of approximately $250,000 in net revenue per year. Independently collect data pertinent to the evaluation of existing structures or new construction including surveys, codes, soil reports, previous consultant reports, and other relevant documents. Independently perform condition appraisals, develop repair schemes, repair recommendations, and probable construction cost estimates. Manage engineering projects through investigation, contractor administration phases, including bidding and on-site observations as applicable. Schedule quality review and advisory meetings on each project. Maintain relationships with existing clients and market additional services. Develop leads for new clients and repeat work from existing clients. Technical environment: MathCAD, ADAPT, ENERCALC, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, AUTOCAD, REVIT, Design Skills (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Timber, and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer laminates), writing technical forensic reports, Structural Restoration.
Job Requirements
*Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience in structural design engineering required. Required/Specific Skills: MathCAD, ADAPT, ENERCALC, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, AUTOCAD, REVIT, Design Skills (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Timber, and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer laminates), writing technical forensic reports, Structural Restoration. Georgia PE license required. 20% local domestic travel to project sites as needed. (*Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer or a related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in structural design engineering also acceptable). $113,402/yr - $130,000/yr. +benefits
