Job description

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in structural analysis and design, working under the supervision of Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers. Candidates should possess strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven capacity to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Minimum requirements:

  • Licensed PE, preferred for the state of office applying for.
  • 2i-5 years of experience in structural analysis and design working under senior PE or SE.
  • Demonstrate advanced level of proficiency (or at least 2+ years of experience) in structural engineering design, planning, and technical analysis working under guidance of senior engineer(s).
  • Experience with small to mid-sized buildings including new construction, renovations, and seismic upgrades a plus.
  • Detailing experience with various structural systems including gravity and lateral framing.
  • Proficient with industry software such as ETABS, SAFE, RAM, and RISA. Others a plus.
  • Proficient with IBC, CBC, ASCE 7, ACI-318, and AISC-341. Knowledge of ASCE-41 a plus.
  • Knowledge of NDS. Mass Timber is a plus.
  • General programing or knowledge in Grasshopper/Rhino is a plus.
  • Special consideration given to those who have more than 2 years of experience with either DSA and/or OSHPD including proven experience handling plan check and construction phases.
