Timber Dental is seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is essential in supporting providers, ensuring efficient clinical flow, and delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures
  • Perform expanded functions duties in accordance with state regulations and certifications
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
  • Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
  • Place restorations and complete EFDA procedures as permitted by licensure
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
  • Support team members to create a smooth and positive patient experience
  • 4 day work week!!

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Current EFDA certification/license as required by state regulations
  • Dental assisting experience preferred
