Exciting opportunity -come to work as an Architectural & Design Specialist within our Commercial Sales Operations department, out of .

Position Summary:

To create specification demand through the Architectural and Design channel, and to grow demand for Virginia Tile products and services in the assigned markets.

Essential Functions:

  • Create and maintain project quotes in the project tracking system (Commercial Apps). Maximize profit for each specific project during the quoting process to achieve the necessary growth goals set forth for the division.
  • Manage, track and organize pending projects with project details, quantities, scheduled order dates and lead time.
  • Proactively track projects as they mature from the time of lead/sampling, through to the specification and quoting of each project.
  • Out of market specification tracking through A&D with VITL and Material Bank specifications for firms outside of the VTC footprint. Standard project tracking of A&D specifications with flooring contractors outside of the VTC footprint.
  • Material Bank lead management: input leads and follow up accountability.
  • Project follow up.
  • Work closely with our Customer Service team to assure all orders are processed properly.
