Job description

Studio41 is seeking a highly motivated individual to be part of our purchasing team. The company and its subsidiaries are rapidly expanding and growing with the continuing improvement of the home construction and remodeling industries.

Duties

  • Daily order processing for plumbing, lighting, or tile products
  • Manage purchases by sending orders to suppliers and monitoring progress
  • Verfiy receipt of orders and correcting with vendor if any errors
  • Interact with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors.
  • Communicate with salespeople lead times/order issues/sourcing
  • Forecasting inventory needs based on sales trends/programs/demand
  • Forge great relationships with our salespeople and rest of purchasing team

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of purchasing experience preferred.
  • Knowledege of the kitchen and bath design industry plumbing, lighting, flooring products – preferred
  • Knowledge of Epicor Solar Eclipse a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suites.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with associates and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Must be reliable and dedicated
  • Must be excellent at time management
  • Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills
