Job description

Our Aurora Carefree Living assisted living facility is seeking candidates for a Housekeeper to join our team.

Schedule: Part-time daytime hours

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible to perform housekeeping tasks to maintain assigned areas in a sanitary, safe and attractive conditional. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Candidates must maintain a clean and safe environment, including resident's rooms, bathroom areas, utility rooms, storage rooms, and linen rooms as well as monitor supplies in these areas.
  • Provide a variety of laundry duties in the collection and laundering of linens, clothing and washables of the facility and the residents.
  • Clean and disinfect all common areas
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas and mop all tile floors

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must be hardworking and dedicated to providing an exceptional customer service experience
  • Prior healthcare and/or laundry & housekeeping experience is preferred
  • Ability to maintain excellent interpersonal and cooperative relationships with management, staff, residents and residents' family
  • Candidates will be subject to a criminal background study
