MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - INTERIOR FINISH SPECIALIST: PAY & BENEFITS

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - INTERIOR FINISH SPECIALIST: YOUR ROLE
In this carpentry job, you will spend most of your time fixing and maintaining buildings, doing custom welding and fabrication, working on tile and flooring, and repairing and painting sheetrock. You will talk with customers and usually work on your own, finishing jobs without much supervision. Sometimes, you will join other skilled workers for bigger projects. Your work will be different every day, and you will use your skills to solve problems and help keep buildings in great shape.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
  • A journeyman carpenter or finisher, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial construction
  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry
  • 3+ years of experience in general maintenance/handyman roles
  • 3+ years of experience in painting/patching
  • Experience in installing wall protection (FRP/Acrovyn)
  • Proficiency in framing windows, doors, closets, and other wood or metal structures
  • Ability to join and cut wood or other materials
  • Experienced with power tools
  • Ability to install cabinetry, flooring, crown molding, and trim
  • Proficiency in drywall installation, mudding, and taping, capable of providing a commercial-grade finish
  • Familiarity with commercial/residential renovation and TI buildouts
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret architectural and structural specifications
  • Knowledge of OSHA and WA state, city, county, and building codes
  • Comfortable working in medical and hospital environments
  • General computer literacy

Preferred:
  • Tile installation experience
  • Flooring expertise
  • Commercial facility repair familiarity

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - INTERIOR FINISH SPECIALIST HOURS
You will work Monday through Friday. There are both day and evening shifts. Sometimes, you will be on call or work overtime. You will have different job sites to go to each day.
