Armstrong Interiors, LLC is a residential remodeling company based in Flemington, NJ, serving homeowners throughout Hunterdon County, Somerset County, Mercer County, and nearby communities. We specialize in kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, basement remodeling, additions, and custom carpentry, with a reputation built on quality craftsmanship, integrity, and care.


Armstrong Interiors, LLC is hiring an experienced Tile Setter to support high-quality residential remodeling projects. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in clean layouts, precise installation, proper preparation, and finished work that looks beautiful and performs for years.

The ideal candidate has hands-on tile installation experience, understands the importance of preparation and waterproofing, works cleanly in occupied homes, and can communicate professionally with the team and clients. We are looking for someone who values craftsmanship, reliability, and doing the job right the first time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install tile for residential remodeling projects, including bathrooms, kitchens, floors, backsplashes, showers, and related areas
  • Prepare surfaces properly before installation
  • Measure, lay out, cut, and set tile with precision and attention to detail
  • Follow project plans, design details, and company standards
  • Complete grout, finish details, and cleanup to a professional standard
  • Maintain clean, organized, and respectful jobsites
  • Protect client property and follow dust control expectations
  • Communicate job progress, material needs, and issues to the Project Manager or Lead Carpenter
  • Identify potential problems early and help resolve them professionally
  • Follow safety standards and proper tool/equipment practices
  • Support the team as needed on remodeling tasks related to project completion

Qualifications

  • Previous tile setting experience required
  • Strong understanding of tile layout, prep, cutting, setting, grouting, and finish work
  • Experience with showers, bathrooms, backsplashes, and remodeling environments preferred
