Residential Flooring Installer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Flooring Installer to join our company. You will lay down a variety of floor materials based on our client's specifications, including carpeting, wood, vinyl, linoleum, and tile. Other job duties include demolition and removal of existing flooring, transporting materials and equipment, cleaning and preparing the floor surfaces, and applying epoxies and solvents when necessary. Our company works with large and small residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You must be proficient in using standard hand and power tools and familiar with different aspects of flooring installation. We prefer candidates with experience in carpet installation or carpentry.

Flooring Installer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess work sites to determine possible issues and make recommendations accordingly
  • Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old hardware like screws and bolts
  • Use hand and power tools to install flooring materials according to client specifications
