Commercial Construction Handyman / Punchlist Tech

MSF Hospitality LLC

Location: Coppell, TX / Travel Required


Are you an experienced construction professional who enjoys being hands-on while also leading teams, coordinating work, and helping projects move forward?


MSF Hospitality LLC is looking for a Handyman/ Punchlist Tech to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong multi-trade construction experience who can perform quality work, support field operations, coordinate with project teams, and help maintain high standards across every project.

The right candidate will be a dependable construction leader who understands jobsite operations, takes ownership of quality and safety, and can help guide projects from daily tasks through successful completion.

What You'll Do


  • Perform hands-on construction work across multiple trades, including carpentry, drywall, tile, painting, doors, hardware, repairs, and punch work
  • Support daily jobsite operations and help keep projects organized and moving forward
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure work is completed correctly and efficiently
  • Help oversee helpers, apprentices, and temporary labor by providing direction and maintaining quality standards
  • Read and interpret plans, shop drawings, and finish schedules
  • Assist with scheduling, jobsite coordination, inspections, and quality control
  • Identify issues, communicate solutions, and help prevent delays or rework
  • Complete punch lists, warranty repairs, and final project details
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional jobsites
  • Provide updates on progress, materials, and project needs


Skills & Experience We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on construction experience
  • Bilingual English / Spanish Highly Preferred
  • Experience as a General Carpenter, Lead Carpenter, Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent Assistant, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of multiple construction trades, including:
  • Rough and finish carpentry
  • Drywall installation and repair
  • Tile and flooring
  • Painting and finishing work
  • Doors, hardware, and specialty installations
  • Ability to read plans and complete work according to specifications
  • Experience leading helpers, apprentices, or small crews preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate professionally with teammates, subcontractors, owners, and clients
  • Commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and accountability
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record


Pay & Benefits


  • Salary: $85,000 per year
  • Truck allowance: $750 per month
  • Tool allowance: Up to $250 per month, depending on tools provided
