Job description

Position: Dental Office Cleaner / Janitorial

Schedule: 20–30 hrs/week (~2pm - ~7pm)


We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated person to join our team to help clean and maintain our multi-floor dental facility. This position plays an essential role in supporting our patients, providers, and staff by ensuring the building remains clean, sanitary, safe, and presentable. Hunsaker Dental is a well-established dental practice with modern facilities in Salem and Monmouth, Oregon. We take pride not only in the quality of care we provide to patients, but also in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional environment for everyone who enters our buildings. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting, and can work independently while following established cleaning procedures and schedules.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily cleaning of dental clinic, offices, restrooms, conference rooms, and common areas, approximately ~13,500 sq/ft
  • Facilities maintenance - Periodic building inspection & repair, maintaining HVAC / electrical / plumbing systems, paint touch-ups, etc...
  • Proper floor care for carpet, laminate, tile, and vinyl
  • Glass and window cleaning
  • Stainless steel detailing
  • Supply restocking and trash removal
  • Follow infection-control procedures for clinical settings
  • Report maintenance or safety issues


Qualifications:

  • Communication skills, follows written and verbal instructions
  • Commercial or healthcare cleaning experience preferred
  • Reliable, detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently
