What you'll do:ย ย 

  • Responsible for four different machines, (Tearing Line #1, Tearing Line #2, Balers, and Blend Line)ย 

  • Monitor quality of the fiber that is being torn by the two tearing lines.ย 

  • Monitor the levels of fiber in the finished fiber bins. (There are two bins for each of the two card lines.)ย 

  • Keep your area clean, including machines, always.ย 

  • When all finished bins are full, the fiber is run to the balers to be baled. The bales are tied with ropes and the bale ticket number is recorded on the Bale production sheet. Bales are stored in the warehouse for future use.ย 

  • Must break down the machines when there is a problemย 

  • Work with maintenance to maintain machines and trouble shoot.ย 

  • The two operators give each other breaks. This means that during that time one operator is responsible for all tasks at one time.ย
