Job description

Responsibilities
TikTok Open Platform is dedicated to empowering developers, merchants, and ecosystem partners by providing standardized, scalable, and secure platform capabilities. Our team bridges the gap between enterprise business workflows and cutting-edge technologies. We are actively incorporating AI-driven workflows and tools into our platform, reshaping how developers and merchants interact with our ecosystem. Responsibilities - End-to-End Architecture & Development: Lead the full-stack architecture design and core feature development for TikTok Open Platform's enterprise (B2B) products, spanning front-end applications, backend APIs, data models, and delivery pipelines. - Enterprise Platform & Workflow Building: Build high-availability, easily extensible, and UI/UX-consistent mid-to-back-office products and infrastructure around complex developer, merchant, and operations workflows. - Front-End Infrastructure & Engineering: Drive the construction of front-end engineering systems, including component libraries, state management, micro-frontends/modular architectures, performance optimization, quality assurance, and telemetry/monitoring. - Backend Integration & Standards: Design domain models, APIs, RBAC/ABAC permissions, tenant isolation, and audit controls. Establish standardized front-end/backend contracts and drive public capability reusability. - AI Tooling & Workflow Optimization: Deeply utilize AI coding tools and Agent capabilities (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to boost end-to-end delivery efficiency. Standardize AI integration across prototyping, UI restoration, API integration testing, Code Reviews, and technical documentation. - AI-Powered Product Innovation: Lead the integration of AI capabilities into B-side products (e.g., smart form auto-fill, natural language configuration/queries, AI-driven low-code generation). - Technical Governance & Leadership: Drive troubleshooting for complex cross-stack/cross-service issues. Take ownership of key business pipeline stability, observability, and long-term tech debt reduction.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Experience & Level: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, with 5+ years of software engineering experience. Proven track record in B2B enterprise applications, developer platforms, or complex mid-to-back-office systems. (Targeting Senior/L3 level). - Front-End Mastery: Exceptional proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, with deep expertise in React and modern front-end engineering toolchains. Strong front-end infra building and troubleshooting skills. - Backend Capabilities: Solid working knowledge of at least one backend technology stack (Golang, Java, Python, or Node.js), capable of independently designing APIs, business logic, and data access layers. - Full-Stack & System Design: Ability to design full-stack systems from 0 to 1, effectively balancing front-end UX, delivery speed, performance, security, and maintainability. - Database & Microservices: Hands-on experience with relational databases, caches, message queues, dynamic forms, workflow engines, internationalization, and multi-tenant architectures. - AI Engineering & Tooling Literacy: Proficient in AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) with strong prompt engineering and context management skills. Familiarity with LLM basics, RAG, Function Calling, Agents, and MCP paradigms, with clear judgment on code safety and performance limits. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with design systems, low-code platforms, data visualization, or large-scale front-end infrastructure governance. - Experience with open APIs, OAuth, authorization/audit systems, or developer platforms. - Experience launching AI-assisted products (e.g., Design-to-Code, AI-driven low-code/page generation).
