Job description

Position Summary:
The Commercial Diesel Technician, under direction of the Fleet Maintenance/Facilities Technician, runs inspections, diagnostic tests, repairs a variety of vehicles and equipment.
This position is for the night shift
Education and Experience:
• Class A or B certification, strongly preferred
• Required High School diploma or equivalent of education and experience, preferred
• 1+ years of preventative maintenance experience
• Must possess tools required for vehicle maintenance
• Must obtain a valid driver's license, class C license at minimum
Requirements
Essential Functions:
• Uses knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventative maintenance and repairs to Tiger's Vehicle Fleet
• Conduct nightly inspections and adjustments; including oil changes and fluid replenishment, visual inspections to identify potential issues and other duties as indicated by DOT and other regulations
• Ability to repair and inspect vehicles in accordance with OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act), DOT (Department of Transportation), and company requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws.
