• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and emotional well-being to develop an accurate understanding of their needs.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique goals of each client, employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, facilitating a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their feelings.
• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Deliver crisis intervention services as needed, offering immediate support to clients facing acute emotional distress.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Turning Tides, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your role will require nurturing a trusting therapeutic relationship to empower clients in managing their mental health. By employing a client-centered approach, you'll facilitate growth and healing in a variety of backgrounds and life circumstances.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW).
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
• A deep sense of empathy and commitment to enhancing client well-being.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Familiarity with ethical guidelines governing mental health practice.

• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling or a related field is essential.
