A Brief Overview
The LPN participates in the provision of nursing care by performing specific activities and technical procedures as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
What you will do
  • Planning and managing patient care according to each patient's needs
  • Interviewing patients and recording their medical history
  • Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms
  • Administering injections of medications
  • Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
  • Observing and recording patients' conditions and reactions to medications and treatments

Education Qualifications
  • Diploma as a Practical Nurse

Experience Qualifications
  • Clinical LPN experience Preferred

Skills and Abilities
  • Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Strong PC skills preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
  • Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required
  • Licensed Practical Nurse - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation with South Carolina Board of Nursing.
