 Are you the go-to person for your friends and family when they have computer issues? Do you love technology, troubleshooting, and creative problem solving? Do you keep up to date with all the latest tech trends? We want someone like you as our new Temporary Technical Support Specialist at FUN.com! 


As a Temporary Technical Support Specialist, you'll monitor the computer support help desk, triaging tickets and resolving basic and moderate issues. (You'll escalate more advanced issues to the next level of support.) You will also set up hardware for new hires or replacements as needed and keep IT hardware organized and maintained. 


This position is not a call center job - We communicate over team chat and email, so you won't be answering phone calls. This position is also not a programming job. It does not require any programming knowledge and is not related to our Software Development team. 



Requirements

Duties

  • Set up and configure hardware for new hires or as replacements.
  • Keep all IT hardware organized and maintained, including ensuring storage in warehouse spaces and the server room is used effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate hardware is available as needed.
  • Create and disable user accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve basic issues in the Computer Support category of the IT helpdesk.
  • Escalate any more advanced tickets to the next level of support, assisting with fixes where appropriate.
