THE JOB

Ziggy's Magic Pizza Shop in Downtown Phoenix is seeking an experienced Cashier/Counter Clerk. We are looking for individuals with 2 years of relevant work experience, some of which involves pizza is a plus. Experience with Toast POS system is also sought.

This is an open kitchen that is also entrance to a speakeasy bar so you must be guest-focused and have a great attitude. A sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and an ability to stay organized and calm are a desired. We play great music, have great regular clientele, are consistently busy, and have a fun work environment

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Greet customers, assistance in the ordering process and create a positive Pizza experience.

  • Processing payments (cash,credit,debit) and ensuring accurate change and receipts.

  • Answer Phones and take phone orders as well as answering all guest's questions about menu items, event schedule and store polices

  • Checking ID's for 21+ beverages

  • Maintain a clean, organized well stocked, workspace and dining room.

  • Balance the cash register. Ensure the cash register is accurate at the beginning and end of each shift.

  • Ensuring every order is completed and any outstanding orders communicated with fellow staff.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Availability for at least 3 shifts (Weekend availability is a must)

  • A good attitude and willingness to learn

  • Relevant work experience in high volume atmosphere

  • "Guest first" attitude
