Location: Park City, Utah

Job Summary:
The IT Technician Intern at POWDR is designed for students passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT support. In this role, you will assist with day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide hands-on support to enterprise teams, including C-suite executives.
Working alongside experienced IT professionals, you'll contribute to real-world projects, build technical and problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to innovative technology solutions in a fast-paced, adventure-driven environment. (This internship is for Fall/Winter Semester. Beginning end of August/first of September through the end of December)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise & C-Suite IT Support - Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise staff, including C-suite executives (CEOs, CFOs, COOs, etc.).

  • Freshdesk Ticketing System - Support the implementation of the Freshdesk ticketing system.

  • Device Configuration & Automation - Work with Intune to configure and automate device management processes, supporting mobile and enterprise users.

  • Onsite IT Support - Travel to Woodward locations and national park concessions to provide hands-on IT support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with hardware deployments as needed.

  • User Onboarding & Offboarding - Assist in setting up new users, provisioning accounts, and managing access control.

  • Process Documentation & Knowledge Base Contribution - Help build a knowledge base by documenting troubleshooting steps, FAQs, and best practices.

  • Shadowing & Training - Learn from senior IT technicians, participate in enterprise technology stand-ups, and contribute ideas for improving processes.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.

  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for technology.

Basic Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license is required.

  • Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.

  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor all season environment.

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

  • Willing to travel as needed.

  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
