Job description

Summary:

The Special Event Ticketing Event Programmer roles primary responsibility is to assist with the creation, setup, maintenance, execution and settlement of ticketed non-Bucks events at Fiserv Forum in addition to any associated ancillary events ranging from parking to upsells. As a member of the ticket operations department, this role will also include assisting with access control, part-time staff management, and day of event box office management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building non-Bucks live events and any related ancillary events using Ticketmaster tools including but not limited to TM1, Reports, Scaling, EMT, Pricemaster, Venues, and the TM Host and Archtics ticketing systems.
  • Assist with the creation, development and evaluation of seating manifests for Fiserv Forum on an event-by-event basis.
  • Oversee inventory management from the on-sale through event settlement and financial reconciliation. This includes but is not limited to placing and releasing holds, managing pre-sale, on-sale, and VIP inventories in conjunction with the promoters and arena management.
  • Assist the ticketing department with the handling of all internal ticket allotments and allocations as required as well as filling any promoter requests in a timely fashion.
  • Physically review production and show configurations on event days for accuracy.
  • Assist with access control set-up, testing, and box office management on event days.
  • Analyze sales trends for all events throughout the on-sale period and make recommendations on pricing/production both internally and to the promoter.
  • Produce reports for promoters and building management as required.
  • Be a point of contact for customer service for both our in-house Guest Services and front of house Ticket Office, but also Ticketmaster Customer Services and promoters as well as troubleshooting intensified customer issues related to assigned special events.
  • Coordinate with Arena Marketing on all event ticket sales/date information for advance, on-sales, โ€œknow before you goโ€, and general event marketing.
  • Maintain open dialogue between all ticket operations staff to ensure the ticket office is well staffed and equipped to handle the needs of all events.
  • Serve as a liaison between the promoter and Ticketmaster and the arena.
  • Establish excellent working relations with concert promoters, other internal departments, as well as Milwaukee Bucks and Marquette Basketball.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or relevant equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years computerized ticket operations experience, preferably in an Arena environment.
  • Advanced level of user knowledge of the Ticketmaster, TM1, Host and Archtics ticketing systems, policies and procedures.
  • Adept computer skills, including all programs in the Microsoft Office suite and online software.
  • Proven experience in learning new technologies with a demonstrated ability to be a resourceful, hardworking and innovative problem solver.
  • Significant successful ticket operations management experience and understanding of live event ticketing.
  • Experience in inventory management for live events.
  • Strong math proficiency and high level of attention to details.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and coordinate multi-faceted plans and issues.
  • Established sound organizational and personal interface skills.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
