About Sacramento Republic FC:
Sacramento Republic FC is one of the most dynamic and community-driven clubs in American soccer and is entering the most transformational era in its history with the development of a new stadium in the heart of California's capital city. This project will redefine sports, entertainment, and culture in Sacramento for decades to come. As the Club prepares for this next chapter, the Ticketing Department will play a critical role in driving growth, revenue, and delivering memorable fan experiences.
Director, Ticket Sales - Overview:
The Director of Ticket Sales will serve as the day-to-day leader of Sacramento Republic FC's ticket sales organization during an important period of growth for the club. The Director will oversee all ticket sales efforts for the club's 2026 and 2027 seasons at Heart Health Park while simultaneously leading new business sales efforts for Republic Stadium. The Director will directly lead, coach and develop the club's Senior Account Executives, Account Executives and Sales Associates, establishing a high-performing sales culture built around clear goals, daily accountability, professional development and revenue performance. The Director will report to Sr Director and work closely with him across the club's broader ticketing strategy.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead all ticket sales efforts for the club's 2026 and 2027 seasons at Heart Health Park, including Membership, Group Sales and new business.
  • Lead the day-to-day new business sales effort for Republic Stadium, working closely with club's premium and suite sales efforts.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the club's ticket sales team across both Heart Health Park and Republic Stadium sales efforts.
  • Directly lead, coach and develop Senior Account Executives, Account Executives and Sales Associates, establishing clear expectations, daily accountability and performance standards.
  • Lead the ongoing recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training and development of the sales team.
  • Build a motivated, cohesive and results-driven sales culture focused on performance, development, collaboration and delivering a high level of experience to Republic FC members and prospects.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of outbound sales efforts for Membership and Group Ticket Sales, including Republic Preview Center appointments, product launches, sales events, seller incentives and buyer promotions.
  • Lead regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, coaching sessions and performance management across the sales organization.
  • Establish and maintain clear sales goals, activity standards, forecasting and accountability across the team.
  • Oversee the sales process, CRM discipline, lead management and pipeline development across Heart Health Park and Republic Stadium new business.
  • Partner with the Ticket Service team to ensure an effective sales-to-service handoff and a consistent member experience.
  • Partner closely with Republic Preview Center team to maximize the RPC as a sales tool while ensuring alignment between the sales process and Preview Center operations.
  • Support the development and management of the Heart Health Park Ticketing P&L and the sales operating budget for the new stadium sales team.
  • Collaborate with SRFC leadership and Marketing to develop and execute lead-generation strategies that grow the club's membership and new business pipeline.
  • Help define and execute the calendar and strategy for sales events at the RPC and within the community, including friends and family events, business outreach and other targeted sales opportunities.
  • Host, present and lead face-to-face sales efforts at the Republic Preview Center and other sales events.
  • Lead the sales execution of the relocation and upsell plan for existing Republic FC Members as the club transitions from Heart Health Park to Republic Stadium.
  • Develop and execute referral strategies to drive membership sales and new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the SRFC Business Intelligence team to develop lead-generation strategies and prioritization systems to identify customers and prospects with the greatest potential to purchase ticketing products.
  • Partner with Elevate and SRFC Marketing to plan and execute membership- and brand-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Provide consistent reporting through accurate daily, weekly and cumulative updates on sales performance, outbound activity, pipeline, forecasting and event outcomes.
  • Ensure the Heart Health Park ticketing business receives strong day-to-day sales leadership throughout the 2026 and 2027 seasons while simultaneously building the Republic Stadium new-business pipeline.
  • Work closely with Mike Donato and SRFC leadership to develop the sales organization, staffing structure and processes needed as the club transitions into Republic Stadium.
  • Work collaboratively across Ticket Service, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Premium, Partnerships, Finance and other departments to support organizational revenue goals.
  • Represent Sacramento Republic FC at all home matches and select events to support ticket sales initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, preferably within sports and entertainment.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of team leadership experience, including hiring, training, coaching and professional development, with demonstrated success.
  • Demonstrated success leading experienced sales professionals and creating a culture of accountability and performance.
  • History of strong revenue production within a sports and/or entertainment organization, preferably involving a new or redeveloped stadium project.
  • Experience with a new stadium, arena, venue opening or major redevelopment strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading new-business, membership and group sales functions preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, pipeline management, forecasting, sales activity measurement and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Strategic business planner with a process-driven mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Skilled in setting and running sales meetings, coaching sales professionals and effectively pitching and negotiating ticketing products.
  • Strong sales training background with a passion for teaching the sales process and developing sales professionals.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment while managing multiple sales efforts, teams and priorities.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and have a team-first mentality.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, matches and events as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high performing team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and ticketing systems
• Strong understanding of sales strategy, pipeline management, and sales reporting
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by match and event schedules
