JOB SUMMARY:

The Guest Experience Ticket Booth Representative serves as a key front-line ambassador for the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting guests in person and over the phone, supporting ticket sales, and ensuring a welcoming, informative, and seamless entry experience. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, and committed to upholding Arboretum standards and policies while creating memorable guest interactions.


This is a Seasonal position that requires the availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and/or seasonal evening events.


We're seeking team members who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, enjoy engaging with diverse audiences, and take pride in representing one of Dallas's premier cultural destinations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Provide warm, courteous, and professional service to all guests in person and via phoneย 

Assist guests with ticket purchases, reservations, and general inquiriesย 

Accurately process transactions using ticketing and POS systemsย 

Share general information about the gardens, events, programs, and amenitiesย 

Monitor and support guest flow at the ticket booth to ensure an efficient experienceย 

Uphold and respectfully enforce Dallas Arboretum policies and proceduresย 

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environmentย 

Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance the overall guest experience

Perform additional duties as assigned to support operationsย 

Requirements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GEDย 

Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience strongly preferredย 

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsย 

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentย 

Comfortable using computers and standard software (Microsoft Office and ticketing systems)ย 

Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitudeย 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team


PHYSICAL AND SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsย 

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsย 

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and seasonal evening eventsย 

Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screening
