Job description

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.
This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.
The anticipated term of this engagement will be 23 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.
CW-Analyst, Product Mgmt & Development Analyzes and provides reports on general financial data used in selecting, creating and monitoring new or enhanced Financial product services. Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Coordinating financial information from numerous sources and combining them into unified, coherent reports.
  • Designing financial reports in order to present information in the most useful manner for different analytical needs.
  • Researching and providing information on financial results for specified insurance products either industry-wide or internally.
  • Assisting in developing financial models and analysis tools, and approaches for internal use of product profitability evaluation.

The Digital Product Manager ensures the success of customer-facing digital initiatives in the TIAA Institutional (B2B) business. This individual will work within the Experience Product Management team to improve the retirement plan management experience for consultants and plan sponsors. The associate will be responsible for understanding business goals, drafting customer and business requirements collaborating across teams to deliver, and monitoring the experience post-implementation. Of primary importance is driving value to our customers through the automation of intuitive, best-in-class digital products and services.
The Digital Product Manager will understand the customer and have a vision for the value the team is delivering to the customer. Important skills for this role include problem-solving, critical thinking, work independence, and flexibility. A strong candidate would also be able to handle complex and varied work with sound judgement and take the initiative to bring problems to resolution.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Exhibits knowledge of B2B business (financial services background is preferred/needed)
  • Ability to write and understand requirements based on business, product and CX needs
  • Customer-first thinking
  • Displays deep understanding of SAFe framework or Agile development framework
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and is the voice for customer experience
  • Develop subject matter expertise in TIAA Institutional (B2B) marketplace
  • Understanding the competitive landscape and customer needs
  • Monitor issues as they surface and collaborate across teams to reach resolution
  • Be cognizant of and track desired outcomes in the form of business OKRs (Objective Key Results)
  • React to customer insights gained through research to make recommendations on enhancements
  • Attend meetings and be able to summarize and provide actionable next steps
