Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Chef to oversee second shift operations within a corporate dining account. This role is responsible for leading culinary operations, ensuring food quality and safety standards, managing staff, and delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a stable schedule with no late nights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•    Provide frontline culinary leadership, support, and direction to kitchen staff.
•    Assist with menu planning, purchasing, and food cost control while ensuring quality and consistency standards are met.
•    Support the development and execution of seasonal and daily menus.
•    Plan, produce, and execute catering events as needed.
•    Partner with marketing and culinary teams to roll out new programs and initiatives.
•    Help manage food and labor costs while maintaining budget targets for the account.
•    Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
•    3–5 years of culinary leadership or supervisory experience.
•    Hands-on Chef or Sous Chef experience in a high-volume environment required.
•    Experience in corporate dining, restaurants, hotels, healthcare, education, military, or similar food service operations.
•    Catering experience preferred.
•    Experience with high-volume batch cooking and complex food service operations preferred.
•    Strong knowledge of food trends, quality standards, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
•    ServSafe certification preferred.
•    Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel).
•    Associate’s degree in culinary arts preferred.
