Shift: S1 (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Monday - Thursday)


We are seeking an experienced Mold Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience in injection molding and a strong understanding of mold installation, setup and troubleshooting.



Position Purpose: The Molding Technician performs duties to set up and cycle a variety of Plastic Injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. They make process adjustments to ensure proper function and quality of parts.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, set up, process and troubleshoot injection molding machines to optimize production efficiency and ensure product quality across a variety of engineered plastic materials.
  • Set up and adjust auxiliary equipment and robotic systems to ensure proper product containment and meet packaging requirements.
  • Follow all Molding Work Instructions (MWI), including prints, specifications, work orders, and production documentation.
  • Identify and resolve molding process issues and quality-related defects.
  • Perform job changeovers, record downtime and scrap/rejects, and verify Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production accuracy.
  • Ensure appropriate material and product containment procedures are implemented and maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Use a variety of measuring instruments, production tools, and equipment. 
  • Communicate tooling concerns, damage, or performance issues to Tooling Department through the Tool Work Order System.
  • Report machine, equipment, or press-related issues to the Maintenance Department through the Maintenance Request Order (MRO) System
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Keep Work Area Clean per Company Housekeeping Standards

Qualifications/Experience

  • Required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 5 years Injection Molding Experience
  • Mechanically inclined and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to constant change
  • Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and the use of common software programs 
  • Desired
  • Delmiaworks (IQMS) ERP system experience
  • Overhead hoist and forklift experience
