Job description

Robotic Welding Operator (Day Shift)
Weisgram Metal Fab (WMF) is a family-owned metal fabrication business founded in 1982, located in West Fargo, ND. WMF specializes in producing high quality parts and components for the agricultural, construction, and transportation industries utilizing cutting edge technology and equipment.
WMF specializes in the following:
• Tube, plate and structural material laser cutting
• Metal fabrication and forming
• Production and robotic welding
• CNC machining
• Powder coat painting
Robotic Welder Operator Responsibilities:
• Interpret and use customer's prints, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Weld parts using a robotic welding machine
• Self-inspect parts for quality issues
• Assemble component pieces by means of fixtures, manual setups, or reading prints
• Assess and adjust necessary equipment to produce the desired results, but also know when to involve the programmer with problems
Welder Qualifications:
• Must be able to understand and utilize tape measures and functional gauges
• Welding training from technical school preferred
• Must have experience reading blueprints
• Must have a working knowledge of welding principles and their applications
Shift:
• Day shift runs 7:00am am to 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday. Friday hours will vary.
• Depending on customer demand, overtime will likely be required
