osition Overview
  • Start Date: May 26, 2026
  • End Date: August 22, 2026
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts; schedule may vary)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Employment Type: Contract (Local & Travel candidates accepted)

Role Summary

The MLT/MLS will function as a generalist, performing a wide range of laboratory testing and procedures. This role requires adaptability, strong technical expertise, and the ability to work independently across multiple lab disciplines.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic testing across multiple departments, including:
    • Chemistry
    • Hematology
    • Blood Bank
    • Coagulation
    • Urinalysis
    • Routine laboratory testing
  • Conduct quality control procedures and maintain laboratory instruments
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment
  • Maintain compliance with laboratory standards and safety protocols

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Certification required: ASCP, AMT, or equivalent
  • Experience as a generalist laboratory professional preferred
  • Strong knowledge across multiple lab disciplines
  • Ability to work independently and manage diverse workloads
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

On-Call & Coverage
  • On-Call: Required (rotating)
    • Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights (6:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Weekend Coverage: Typically not required
  • Holiday Coverage: Required
