Description
Simpson College, an NCAA Division III institution, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Track and Field (Throws).
Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with all aspects of the daily operations of the men's and women's intercollegiate track and field program, specifically recruiting student-athletes, supporting student-athletes throughout their collegiate careers, assisting with meet management, and fundraising. This position will be responsible for coaching throwing events. As a member of the athletics department, you may be assigned other duties by the Director of Track and Field/Cross Country, Head Track Coach, or the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Previous coaching experience, ideally at the collegiate level
  • Previous experience as a thrower or coaching throwing is required
