As a cyber threat intelligence analyst, you know the key to detecting and deterring malicious activity is quality risk-based intelligencethat maps to a tactical behavior. As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst on our team,you'lloversee the collection, documentation, assessment, and analysis ofcyber threat information using tools and technologies such asGoogleThreatIntelligence and MITRE ATT&CKframework, to enrich intelligence.You'llconduct strategic assessments on systems and networks and provide tactical analysis and influential recommendations fordefensiveoperations.You'llbe the key to discovering and correlatingtimelythreat intelligence and deciphering whatrepresentsa real risk, andyou'llplay a lead role in incident analysis, adversarial research,andfinished intelligence products to inform policymakers, cyber operators,andmission area leadership.

You Have:

  • Experience with Indo-Pacificgeopolitical andcyberthreat intelligence
  • Experience with cyber threat intelligenceanalysisprinciplesin a government or commercial environment
  • Experience creating and presenting succinct briefings, presentations, and reports to technical and executive leadership that convey analysis, threat trends,impacts to targets,defensive strategies, and prioritization
  • Knowledge of emergingIndo-Pacificcyber adversaries and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP)
  • Knowledge of information security andinformation technologythreats, attacks, and vulnerabilitiesin a cybersecurity context
  • Ability to convert raw cyber data into actionable intelligence, in written narrative and tactical data formats, following intelligence analysis tradecraft standards
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and10+ years of experience with cybersecurityor cyber threat intelligence,Bachelor'sdegree and6+ years of experience with cybersecurityor cyber threat intelligence, orMaster'sdegree and4+ years of experience with cybersecurity or cyber threat intelligence

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with computer network protocols and operations
  • Experience with theIntelligence Communityand its intelligence analysis standards
  • Knowledge ofadvancedpersistentthreatsand campaigns
  • Knowledge of analytic threat models, includingMITREATT&CK, Pyramid of Pain, Diamond Model, and Cyber Kill Chain
  • Ability to perform queries on indicatorsof compromiseand characteristics, including Message-Digest Algorithm 5, Secure Hash Algorithm 1, IP Addresses, file size, file name, and file paths
  • Ability to conduct classified and unclassified research using research tools
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Network+, Security+, CEH, CCNA, or SANS Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
