Job description

Job Description We're hiring a Roll Threader for our Houston, TX area client. We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately. DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB: Job Title: Roll Threader Location: Southwest Houston Pay: $26.00+/hour DOE Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Second Shift) Duration: Temp-to-Hire Description of Duties: Set up and operate thread rolling machinery used to manufacture precision threaded components such as bolts, studs, and pins

Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and engineering specifications to ensure products meet dimensional and thread requirements. Install and adjust dies, tooling, and machine settings to maintain quality production standards. Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments and thread gages.

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain proper thread form, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy. Identify and troubleshoot threading defects or machine-related production issues. Partner with Quality and Engineering teams during new product setups, testing, and process improvement activities.

Accurately complete production records, inspection reports, and related manufacturing documentation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience operating thread rolling, thread forming, or similar metalworking equipment.

Experience working in precision manufacturing environments such as aerospace, power generation, or industrial fastener production preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and thread specifications. Knowledge of external thread rolling processes on alloy steel or specialty metal components.

Skilled in the use of precision inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and thread gages. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and maintain production quality standards.
