Job description

Are you interested in working with a diverse group of people that are "better together"? Threads Uniform Agency might be the place for you! Threads is a client-centric producer of uniforms and has outfitted over one million members of our nation's workforce.

We are seeking a dependable, team-player to join our BLANK as a Forklift Operator. This role will be focused on receiving shipments and safe machine operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Unload and sort inbound shipments safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Perform picking duties in bulk storage areas in an ef๏ฌcient manner that meets company standards. Pull and supply stock for replenishment of picking bins. Pull and prepare pallets for LTL shipment.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and ef๏ฌcient manner following prescribed work methods to load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or rolling dock cart as needed.
  • Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Inspect the forklift or other equipment and immediately report any issues.
  • Maintain accuracy of records to ensure inventory control is maintained.
  • Assist in daily cycle counting as well as physical inventories.
  • Conduct forklift operations in a safe manner at all times and in compliance with OSHA and Company Standards.

Requirements:

  • Physically lift up-to (50 lbs.) fifty pounds at once or lesser amounts more frequently throughout the day.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach above the shoulders frequently throughout the shift daily.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift certification.

    • The time since the conviction.
    • The number (if more than one) of convictions.
    • Whether hiring, transferring or promoting the applicant would pose an unreasonable risk to the business, its employees or its customers and vendors.
